At OceUp, interactions are a key part of how StartUps connect with investors and other users on the platform. The Inbox and Notifications features are designed to help you stay up to date with important messages, requests, and updates.

Inbox

The Inbox is where you’ll receive direct messages from investors, other StartUps, or platform admins. It’s an easy way to manage your conversations, respond to requests, and stay in touch with potential partners or investors.

You can keep track of all your incoming and outgoing messages, ensuring no important communication gets lost.

There are 2 types of features inside your Inbox

• Notifications: You will primarily receive requests from potential investors who wish to view your Pitch Deck, Team Chart, Financial Information, or have a direct conversation with the founder.

  It is the StartUp’s responsibility to accept or deny these requests. OceUp is not liable for any incorrect acceptance of requests by the StartUp. Caution and common sense are strongly recommended when accepting requests. Keep in mind this is a real neogtiation.

• Private Chats:In this section, you will manage all private chats with investors. These conversations are private and confidential, intended only for individuals involved in the negotiation. For security reasons, please refrain from sharing sensitive personal or financial information in these chats.

  Always keep the conversations professional and respectful. Remember, these chats are a reflection of your StartUp and its commitment to maintaining a trustworthy relationship with potential investors.

  If you believe that someone has violated our Code of Conduct, we encourage you to report it immediately by contacting us. We take such matters seriously and will take appropriate action to ensure a safe and professional environment for all users.
