Investing on OceUp: An Overview

Investing inside OceUp is a structured and streamlined process designed to help Investors connect with opportunities outside their network and reach.

To ensure that you ahve a smooth experience finding and funding these opportunities, we've broken down the fundraising process into clear steps. These steps guide your from setting up your Investor profile to finding opportunities and finishing investments, helping you navigate throught the different stages OceUp offers.

1

Create your Investor Profile

Start by signing up to the platform and completing your Investor profile. This includes a brief overview of yourself as an investor. Your profile is private by default and will only be visible to StartUps you actively show interest in. You can find more details in the "For Investors" section of the platform.

2

Browse StartUps and show interest

Once your profile is complete, you can begin exploring StartUps that have chosen to make their profiles public. When you come across a company that interests you, you can request access to view their Pitch Deck, Financial Information, Team Chart, or even start a private chat with the founder.

3

Negotiation

After your request is accepted, youโ€™ll gain access to the private chat, where direct communication with the founder begins. This is where you'll negotiate terms, exchange offers, and work toward reaching a mutually beneficial agreement.

4

Funding

Once both parties agree on the terms, you will deposit the funds into an escrow account. These funds will be securely held and only released after the necessary security checks are successfully completed โ€” ensuring a safe and reliable transaction for both sides.

Remember that StartUp investing involves risks and that every investor acts at their own discretion and responsibility.
